A movie that is not afraid to share the "secret" in colonel' recipe and served it the way the good colonel intended! The best in its genre since Blood Simple. The best movie of 2012, should have best picture!

Don't waste your time or money. Totally missed the mark. Overreached, not comedy, and not thrilling. I want my money back. A STINKER is understating. One star because no category for negative stars.

So I've seen the film twice now, first time I didn't like it much because I thought it was too disgusting and disturbing, but after seeing the making of featurette and seeing the different interviews with the cast I watched it again and absolutely LOVED it. It is a black comedy, and the sheer absurdity of the film is what makes it absolutely work. McConaughey gives a great performance as does the brilliant actress Juno Temple. Emile Hirsch and Thomas Hayden Church and Gina Gershon are all great in their roles too. I could tell this film was really challenging for them, and I can only imagine how much harder it must be to perform this show on stage (it was a play written back in the'90s) but I would say if you like GOOD film and admire twisted, absurd stories that leave you definitely thinking and sticking with you, I would recommend Killer Joe.

I thought The casting and acting was very good. There is a lot of nudity, which I wasn't expecting, but I wasn't extremely offended by it either. Some people might be offended by some scenes, but it is a movie! I would recommend it.

This is not rated R. Just have the balls to post an NC-17 film and say it's NC-17. The world will not end, and religious groups will not storm iTunes headquarters because you put a film up that has a rating like any other rating.
