A comedy/mystery featuring 3 bear roommates who attempt to solve the murder of a party guest. It is the Golden Girls meets Murder She wrote, with big, gay hairy men.
Bears are stupid
Where The Bears Are......FUNNY
From the first episode, I was hooked on this series.
Originally this was filmed as a movie and the cut up into 20 or so 4 -5 episodes that were watched online. What makes this series different is that no studio backed the production of this series. This was a labor of love created by Ben Zook, Rick Copp, and Joe Dietl. Where as most gay themed movies deal with coming out and the ramifications of doing so, this series skips all past that and delivers a face paced, goofy mystery where gay is the norm and which pokes a little fun at the bear community in good fun. Can't wait for season 2 to be on Itunes. Hopefully these guys will be able to produce a season 3. Go to their website: www.wherethebearsare.tv to find out how to help.
It was good to see a nice film about gay men that wasn't pornographic. The plot was good. However, the constant playing of the song "Where the Bears Are" between the many chapters was extremelly annoying.
My partner and I loved the series. Can't wait for season 2. Harry Potter, WOOF!
Nothing beats a furry flick! Entertaining, enticing & fun...
