V/H/S 2 lives up to the hype from the first VHS film which was so incredibly dumb and over the top scary as well. This sequel is haunting and has various good storylines and scary events that occur in them what makes this film stand out is the brilliant minds into making each imagniable story and create so much passion and care into making videotapes.
  • Loved it, better than the first, accomplishes many subgeners of the horror genre

Great short films that were successfully connected, creative, terrifying, and great effects

Unoriginal and shallow stories (especially the bike riding zombies- which featured every trope in the book and was highly predictable) and way, way, too much gore.
  • LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!

I know I am writing a review late but I gotta say, this movie is my favorite of all time. I love the different stories behind it and you see what’s going on after they watch the tape. Giving it 5 stars!!!!

This movie was the best, but not as scary as the first. This film was more bloody, bizarre, and grisly than the first film. So I will give 5/5 stars for vhs 2.
  • Too many zombie movies

I liked the way this movie was filmed. I think some of the zombie scenes were too long like the bike rider.
  • Nice sequel! Not perfect but lots of fun!

I got a huge kick out of this. A few scares, some laughs and fun moments, lots to fire the imagination, and it’s all wrapped up in a kind of super-plot that continues the ideas from the first movie without giving a lot away. Parts were boring, I grant you, so 4 stars. My favourite part is just how re-watchable it is… it’s the kind of thing you can pull out every Halloween and watch with friends and laugh and scream at. CAN’T WAIT for part 3!
  • Good movie

This movie was a pretty good horror film. I watched it when it first came out and it was pretty scary and left me watching my back for a couple of days. Although it was a scary film, there was no plot to it. Definetly a weird freaky movie though

Not my favorite movie but definitely in the top ten! Most movies have a better original but this movie series has improved! Hopefully someday there will be part 3 :)
