Description

Naina (Preity Zinta) is a young woman, slightly not happy for reasons more than one. Her father committed suicide when she needed him the most, leaving Jennifer (Jaya bachchan), his wife all alone. Lajjo (Sushma Seth), Jennifer's mother-in-law blames Jennifer for the same. Furthermore, Jennifer is unhappy because Lajjo refuses to accept Gia, a 6-year old girl whom Jennifer adopted. Even the restaurant Jennifer is running is not doing well. In short, nothing is well on the Kapur family front. The only factors that redeem Naina's existence is her toiling and tolerant mother Jennifer and her bumbling stumbling MBA classmate Rohit (Saif Ali Khan). Meanwhile, Aman (Shah Rukh Khan) a happy-go-lucky guy arrives in Naina's neighbourhood and soon changes everything around, thanks to his contagious joviality and jest for life. He proves to be the messiah for the Kapur family in every sort...

God must have created this movie. It's a gift from some superior intellect.

Everything about SRK is amazing. But this movie is extremely Bomb, and I've seen it like a hundred times and it never gets old. Watch it because you won't regret it 😄

Okay, this movie is basically a remake of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. . . without the cheerful happy ending. I basically cried, and not just a little tear here or there - I mean face red unattractive crying for a substantive period of time. That being said, SRK was awesome as always, the songs were great, and I liked the cameos that Kajol and Rani Mukerji made - presumably another reference to the parent film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, since they all starred in it with SRK.
