Mariah Carey, Ethan Peck, and Adam Rothanberg star in this honest and heartwarming journey of self-discovery from producer Lee Daniels (director and producer, Precious). When two very different brothers set out on a road trip to find their estranged father, they’re joined by a frustrated young waitress (Carey) with a dream who helps them overcome their painful past, confront the challenges in their future, and become a family again. Featuring breakthrough performances and Mariah Carey’s stirring song “Right to Dream” it’s a moving drama about facing the past in order to find your future.

I love Mariah but I'm not gonna be biased cause of it so I'm gonna be honest, the movie was an amazing tearjerker and the last 30 minutes had my heart in a knot. I wanted to know what happened so bad but couldn't and the whole adventure story of the movie was amazing, very lovable, sad, and just plainly a great movie that I can't even put into words how it feels to watch. DO NOT let the rating effect your decision you will not. regret watching this I PROMISE.
  • I’m probably biased because I’m a huge Mariah fan but...

I thought this movie was good, despite what the critics said. There was beautiful scenery, commendable performances from the cast, and a tearjerking ending. The movie made me feel something and that’s what a movie is supposed to do, I think.
