Clint Eastwood's big screen version of the Tony Award®-winning musical tells the story of the four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic '60s rock group The Four Seasons. Their trials and triumphs are accompanied by the hit songs that influenced a generation, and are now being embraced by a new generation of fans through the stage musical.

  • Legit, stylish and actually not that bad

Legendary filmmaker/actor Clint Eastwood has starred and directed such classic films of his own like (Flags of our Fathers, Gran Torino, Mystic River, Letters from Iwo Jima, The Good, the bad and the ugly, Dirty Harry, Million Dollar Baby, Invictus, J. Edgar and Hereafter) but with his stylish take on 1960's music Jeresy Boys is a film that the legendary Clint Eastwood has never done in his career. I was expecting Jeresy Boys to be like a beautiful well-made musical with stellar acting and beautiful production value. And that's what Jeresy Boys is all about and the costumes, production value, set pieces are crafty and stylish the plot follows the four jeresy boys Frankie Valli (John Lloyd Young), Bob Gaudio (Erich Bergen) Nicki Massi (Michael Lomenda) and Tommy DeVito (Vincent Plazza) together they must confront people who are trying to rip together there group of bands but such as the mobsters are trying to take down their force of singing the jeresy boys have no choice but to sing and ingore the attack. the plot sounds cliche i know but with the interesting plotpoints and cliche diagloue make this clint eastwood movie delicous. Although the acting is wooden but the musical numbers and singing were off the charts and just sounds like Frank Sinatra. Clint Eastwood's brilliant directing and cinemtopgraphy was totally convicing but i thought the casting chocies were kinda off (hey look Christopher Walken was in it) It may seem Clint Eastwood's underrated take on the jeresy boys but i know for a fact that Clint Eastwood knows how to bring true stories to the big screen and now with Jeresy Boys is still a favorite for Eastwood fans and music lovers just for the fun of it. I enjoyed Clint Eastwood's biopic of the jeresy boys in the heart of 1960 although all he elements and writing felt like a Martin Scorsese film because of how interesting the lighting and editing that is presented in the film it captures that similar feel to tell the audience that musicals aren't just lost beats there smart and whimsical music that you can repeat in your head for some time. Clint Eastwood has made and starred in such brilliant films and he needs to continue starring and making movies for the love of it because he is a good director and actor for what he is. Jeresy Boys was overall a whimsical exprience for me because of the generous wooden acting and stylish costumes that makes this musical really off the charts i highly recommend.

  • Amazing Story about an Amazing Group

Now, before I begin, most people know who Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are... the 1960's music legends that sang together beautifully and defined 1960's culture. Now imagine a movie all about how the Four Seasons got their start, filled with all the classic Four Seasons songs including "Sherry", "Rag Doll", "Can't Take my Eyes Off of You", "Walk Like A Man", "Big Girls Don't Cry", "Oh, What a Night", and "Raven". Now add an amazing cast with amazing voices and a man with an amazing falsetto portraying Frankie Valli. Now you have the Jersey Boys movie. Before I even knew about Jersey Boys, I had listened to Frankie Valli all my life, so I l knew the Seasons very well. So imagine my surprise and excitement when I hear there is a movie about them. This is a heartfelt and touching story that will leave you crying with tears of joy and wanting more. Now that the Jersey Boys musical is returning to NYC, I must book the show. Rating 100/100 - AMAZING!!
