Julianne Moore is the hidden gem in this film and everything about it is wonderful. Watching a sucessful professor struggling with Ahlzemirers is heartbreaking and tragic that she forgets who she was or anything that she says really this is a julianne Moore masterpiece.

Very good movie! My father had Alzheimer’s and went through a lot of this! The Oscar for best actress was well-deserved!

A wonderful caste. No other actress other than Julianne Moore can give an honest delivery of a character. She is one of the best actresses of her craft. A true talent. Kristine Stewart was wonderful as well as Alec Baldwin. It was hard to watch a woman with everything (prestigious teacher) progress with this horrible disease and watching the family take part in it as well. Very well made.

Julianne Moore is at her best in Still Alice and her superb acting along with the supporting cast from Alec Baldwin and Kristen Stewart shows it clearly well. The film is gripping and heart-wrenching as Moore's character experiences right before the viewer's eyes of the debilitating process of Alzheimers. It is a disease that affects everyone and not only the individual. A highly regarded film that was worthy of all of its Academy Award accolades.
  • Honest and well acted

As you can guess from trailers or reviews, the topic is Allzheimers. So no surprises where this is going to end up. The acting was very good by Moore and her daughter (in the movie). You really got the feeling across from her about what was going on. And her “speech” in the movie towards the end was so well written.
  • Wonderful - hits the nail on the head

I just lost my Grandmother to this disease, Alice’s speech moved me to tears, as she is right maybe the next generation will not have to battle this horrible disease.
