Description

Colossal special effects and death defying stunts highlight the futuristic thriller, Megaforce. Barry Bostwick stars as Ace Hunter, leader of an elite task force of adventurers who gallantly fight to uphold justice. Their ultramodern weaponry figures predominantly in their perilous mission to save a small democratic nation which has been invaded by a band of ruthless mercenaries. Director Hal Needham's (Smokey and the Bandit, Cannonball Run) undisputed mastery and knowledge of stunt work is vividly apparent throughout the many action packed scenes. The high flying stunts, combined with a dynamic display of futuristic vehicles make this an extraordinary film experience.

  • GI Joe Before GI Joe

While the critics may hate this movie and while it may have been a monetary flop, as a child of the 70s & 80s, this was a great fun movie. For those of us in that period, this was the big screen GI Joe type movie before they actually had a big screen GI Joe movie. Ironically, the critics didn't like those either. Folks, it's a Saturday morning cartoon come to life. It's supposed to be fun and have action, not pin you to your seat in fear or suspense. Just set back and enjoy a clean movie for a change. I think you'll find that in the end you'll be rooting for the Megaforce guys to win the day and enjoy the ride along the way.
