This is one of the true greats, well presented. And it is just as advertised, The Complete Original Series. Which ran from 1971 — with he Steven Spielberg directed abs Steve Bochco written series premier — to 1978. It does not have the early TV movie from ‘68, which is only okay, or the ‘early ‘71 proof of concept movie with the great Lee Grant. It also does not have the later stuff, which resumed in 1989 and continued in irregular fashion until 2003. That was pretty never.

One of TV’s greats, and awesome to have the original NBC run in HD goodness. But this collection is missing the two pilots, Prescription Murder and Ransom For a Dead Man (Prescription Murder is especially entertaining, as Columbo actually gets mad). The DVDs have them . . . . Would be great to include them here.
