Life, Season 2

Life is one of my favorite shows of all time. At first glance, it seems like just another police procedural. In reality it is a funny, charming and nuanced show about a man searching for answers. The chemistry between Lewis and Shahi works beautifully without playing on cheap romantic tension. The show also took 3 steps up with the introduction of the great Donal Logue. The only bad thing about Life is that… appropriately, it ends too soon.

I can't believe I didn't tune into this back in '07-'09! Shame that it's too late for me to let NBC know what fools they would be to cancel it before they actually did. There's probably many others out there that feel the same after having discovered the series after the fact. I thought Chicago Code, another short run detective series on FOX, would forever remain my favorite. No way! It's Life all the way!

A great show. A very great show. They need to revive this show.

I watched this show as it first aired and I was so sad went it was cancelled. Damien Lewis is an excellent actor and he was great at playing the somewhat eccentric Charlie Crews. Also, for what little time they had to wrap up the story lines, they came up with an excellent ending.

I can't believe they cancelled this show. Hands down, best cop show I've ever seen.

One of my favorite shows ever I was so sad to find out that there were no more seasons! I got totally addicted to watching this after the first season that I just sat and watched the second season as much as possible every time I had the chance LOVE IT!!!!

Great show and definitely should be brought back...who would cancel this?!

Wonderful show. It makes you wonder if it had been on something other than a fourth rate network like NBC if it would have been able to draw the kind of ratings that would have allowed it survive more than two seasons. Great acting, strong writing, witty and beautifully filmed. The beautifully filmed aspect may have been part of the problem as I suspect the economics of a series like this circa 2007-2009 when NBC stupidly thought they could foist Jay Leno off on the viewing public in a cost saving attempt proved to be part of the show's demise. Watch how many of the scenes are shot in something other than static three-camera. All those complicated filmmaking techniques do cost money to set up and shoot; as do the extensive location shoots in this show. In any case, shame on NBC for not realizing when they had a diamond in their hands. Fortunately the two principal actors have moved on to success in Fairly Legal and Homeland. Good for them!!!

Why isn't this show back on!! This was the best show ever. One show that both my husband watch TOGETHER. Please bring it back!
