Description

From the creator and executive producers of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice comes a drama revolving around the life and work of a professional fixer and her staff. A former media relations consultant to the President of the United States, Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) dedicates her life to protecting and defending the public images of our nation's elite. After leaving the White House, the power consultant opened her own firm, hoping to start a new chapter -- both professionally and personally -- but she can't seem to completely cut ties with her past, specifically her secret relationship with the President. But Olivia isn't the only one with a secret; her staff, who specialize in fixing the lives of other people, can't quite fix the ones closest at hand -- their own.

    Olivia Pope is a one of a kind character and she carries this show. However, she also has so many great characters around her that also help carry this show to a great height. So much happens in this show and the replay value is very high. It's worth buying because i will continue to revisit this show in the future.

    In this tv show they have showed islam as al qaeda, until episode 3 of season 3 when Katie "Quinn P." Indicates to American man who has became a terrorist after he "dug deep in Islam". duh Wakeup! people are not stupid to believe such lies, it's not a secret that al qaeda was formed by the US government.

    The best ever….. when will season 4 be out? i really can't wait for it…the plot, story line, romance/affairs is just too mind blowing……..love very bit of it…..thumbs up to Oliva, Fitz, Mellie, Huck and our dear chief of staff…….

  • Scandal is the Only Show that Can Actually Be Constructive With 22 Episode Seasons

    Scandal is jaw-dropping and incredible. Kudos to Shonda Rimes, Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn, Bellamy Young, and the entire cast for a job well done. Normally, ABC dramas tend to decline in quality by their third seasons. However, Scandal continues to blow away its viewers every single episode. In fact, it is the only show that I have ever seen (and I watch A LOT of television) that is actually constructive with every episode in the series. Just so you know, the season was shortened to 18 episodes due to Kerry Washington's pregnancy and that is really all it needed though one part I felt was a bit rushed. Season 4 will be back in Fall 2014 with 22 episodes and I am sure it will not disappoint. Scandal is the best and one of the most watched dramas ABC has to offer.

    This season had me, then lost me, then had me again at the very end. It starts out pretty well, although it doesn’t have the same excitement as Season 2 at its best. It picks up a bit toward what was the mid-season hiatus. After that, it’s a rough slog for the most part (although with one particularly poignant episode thrown in). The finale redeems it a bit (B+ for me), but this was a season where the key political plots just weren’t that interesting, and most of the interpersonal stuff just felt played out already. The music, though, is still great.

    Is it bad to be obsessed with a tv show? because I am 100% obsessed with scandal. all of the plot twists are mesmerizing and the actors are so amazing that I sometimes forget that it is scripted.

    Program will keep you on your toes with the twists and turns. Excellent and swift story telling. Touches on the nuances of behavior without being preachy. Great characters meet good story telling EQUALS Scandal.
