Wolverine and the X-Men, Season 1

Description

An Explosive event shatters the lives of the X-Men, as their mentor, Professor X, and friend, Jean Grey, are taken away from them. Disheartened, the team disbands. That is, until one of them is given a rare glimpse into a terrifying future guarded by Sentinels and ruled by Magneto and The Brotherhood of Mutants - a world without X-Men. Now, it's up to Wolverine to reunite the team, find lost friends, and prevent the world's destruction. So now the most legendary of all X-Men, Wolverine, must take the lead on the ultimate mission - to prevent the world's destruction - while fending off enemies Magneto and The Brotherhood.

I love Nightcrawler. Glad to see he got his own standalone episode. That was one of my favorites of the season- had a unique tone that really worked.

A really thorough modern day interpretation of the XMen, pretty close to what was going on in the comics and where the comics were going. Nice to see the animators can have as much vision as the comic creators themselves.
