I liked it a lot. Ending ended too quickly if you get what I mean. Sky Marshall’s seem to have a liking to bugs in the Marauders movie too.

Not a bad effort. But, the movie is long on animation, and short on plot. The character's presentation suffers from not having the original cast do all the critical voices. I realize this happens, but it hurt the premise in application. Lots of action, but very little substance, especially when you realize who is supplying Dizzy's thoughts and verbiage. The story line itself is hollow, but this movie does rate a single viewing. Rent it, but do not buy it.
  • A worthy Troopers movie

As good as the original in the fun factor, with just enough of a plot to set it apart from the rest of the series. You will love this movie for the graphics, the awesome explosions, the few bits of comedy. One thing you may not like is the thinly vieled slap to HIllary Clinton in terms of the new Sky Marshal, who plays the part so well that the only thing separating her from the real thing is that she's cute, while Clinton looks like she fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down in comparison. They even got the whole 'look what happens when your dark secret' comes out thing down too. Seriously, at the end of the movie, I was expecting her to blame Jenkins, blame Mars, and blame Ibanez for her screwups and then publish a book.

The story could have been so much better. They basically wrote the shell of an epic story then forgot to fill in all the important details. As someone who liked the original movie and all its quirks, I have to point out they took it way too far this time. The movie earned its 2nd out of 5 stars in my mind based purely on some decent action scenes.

Yeah! It's bad. The dialogue is really bad.
  • Graphics good, story OK, writing is very iffy

The movie as a whole is ok, but the thing going against is the writing. It was iffy at best and not something I was expecting. The graphics were a bit better than I was expecting though. I would watch it again if I wanted constant action and a desent story though.
  • Sat. morning cartoon

For twelve and under only. Really bad. A plot that is mostly hole, characters too stupid to live, unbelievably bad dialog, repeats the stupidities of the movie like starships sitting stationary for incredibly. slow. weapons. Ludicrously bad.
  • Would be great for younger viewers... much younger

I'm not a CG expert but I thought the animation was great and the gear and ships were pretty cool. Some of the dialogue was absolutely childish and the voices didn’t seem to fit the characters that were speaking. Oh and if I heard "This is a good day to die" or "do you want to live forever" one more time I might have puked. Rent it but I wouldn’t purchase it unless you are just a hopeless fanatic. Which I am but not for this.
  • Worthy addition to the franchise! Do you want to know more?

This entry is quite possibly one of the best. Great action sequences, and some nice retro tech to bring this even more in line with stuff from the book (jump jets). Even the music had flourishing touches of the original movie's theme in it, bringing back a bit of nostalgia while wishing just a bit that it could have been even better had special effects not been prohibitive or limited as they were 20 years ago for this type of movie. So rent or buy today! What are you waiting for? Do you want to wait forever?
