From visionary filmmaker Spike Lee comes the incredible true story of an American hero. In the early 1970s, Ron Stallworth (John David Washington) becomes the first African-American detective in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a difference, he bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. He recruits a seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver), into the undercover investigation. Together, they team up to take down the extremist organization aiming to garner mainstream appeal. Produced by the team behind the Academy Award®–winning Get Out, BlacKkKlansman offers an unflinching, true-life examination of race relations in 1970s America that is just as relevant in today's tumultuous world.

  • Why does Spike Lee get so much credit?

Spike Lee has to be one of the most overrated directors in the history of movies and this is one if his worst. Horribly bad

Just watched this movie and let me tell you 10/10. This movie showed the same things that are going around with the black lives matter movement. Showed that there is still racism going on in our country. This movie was also pretty funny in some parts, amazing acting by John David Washington! 👏🏼
  • Blackkklansman is the best history film

Spike Lee know what he is doing in this film though this is just a masterpice of history and culture. There are also references to classic 70's films and it was suprising and brilliantly well acted i enjoyed it.
  • Amazing

This movie is amazing. I think the only people that don’t like it are white people that feel like it’s attacking them. I also don’t think the know that this is a true story. They are just being Ignorant because they want to. That acting is also incredible, it shows more of the casual racism in America. The ending is just perfect it connect it to the present day and how this stuff is still happening. Writing this in 2020 at the beginning of June. It’s always been hard to be a black person in this country. Right now it seems like we are going back words and not moving this country in a forward directions.
  • Tries to tell a message... in a very wrong way

This is a supposed true story with bothing loyal to the book. I advise you guys to skip this one as it gets cringeworthy as possible towards the end.

A movie can be good and have a political message. Sorry you conservatives clearly would rather downright a movie just because of politics. “The only reason critics liked it was because they didn’t want to be called racists!” Wow, nice deduction, Einstein. You figure that out all by yourself? Or maybe, just hear me out... most critics... actually liked... I mean genuinely liked the movie... shocker I know. Not everything is some racist pro-liberal conspiracy. Every time I hear something about critics being corrupt or whatever I lose a bit of respect for the audience score on itunes and RT
  • Great Movie

The movie was great. End of the movie was just a signal that as much good as you try to do there will still be those who are stuck in their own ways.
