Respectable reboot

This is way overrated but a solid watch. Personally I think Halloween Kills blows this out of the water. But I’m more into the 80’s over the top slasher vibe. I actually like Rob zombies 2007 remake better then the 2018 reboot.
Not the best but not the worst

Worthy sequel. Perhaps not the best in the whole franchise but better than a lot of the other ones I’ve seen. Jamie Lee Curtis is great in this one and it’s interesting to see how the carnage on Halloween night in ‘78 has changed her. The Michael Myers in this one is much more brutal than in previous Halloween movies. The killings are brutal and shocking as they should be, but not over the top and ridiculous like in the Rob zombie movies where the violence just lingers on forever to the point of being ridiculous. There are moments in this movie that make you go “WTH?!!!” and other moments that are great. Not to give anything away about the next installment Halloween Kills, but you probably leave feeling the same. Moments where you’re like laughing at certain scenes that seem ridiculous and other moments where you are thinking “awesome!“ Now that I’ve invested my time in these two movies, I definitely want to see what happens in “Halloween Ends”. Needless to say, it will have a lot to live up to.

I like this movie. This is the best sequel after the 1978 movie. It has an ending that they could of left it off there. Out of 10 overall my rating is 6.5/10

Was this suppose to be a scary movie ? This was pure comedy. The fact that you tried to bring dumb liberal narrative in a movie is sad for starters the scene where the dad and son find the bus crash the kid was telling his dad I don’t wanna do hunting anymore I wanna pursue dance… stupid and this is a 2018 film right ? Who still hangs there sheets outside ? Lastly if you’ve been waiting 40yrs for this man and all you have are rifles and a crossbow that is sad. Complete joke favorite scene was the little kid getting babysat he carried that movie

it IS a new and different Michael thanwe are used to. Hes smarter, and definitely quicker! 4 and 5 will always be the best in my heart, but some good true fans took on this project. Dont compare this to Rob Zombies versions. He has his vison, Blumhouse has theirs. Just glad Michael is back and popular again.
Feels like something from the Scary Movie franchise

Honestly, I can’t understand how people enjoyed this. Felt corny, jumbled, poorly written, and not scary in anyway.
