    A true masterpiece of cinematography. The story crushes you into dust with it’s morphine injection to its final shot of Laszlo & K’s deceased body flying through the air. Best acted heart-breaking, soul-crushing film ever to be made.

    I will jump at any opportunity for a Seinfeld reference! I’m a hopeless romantic but this movie is brutally boring. It’s not passionate enough, it’s not epic enough, I don’t feel anything for the characters. I needed this film to break my heart. Now Doctor Zhivago, Couching Tiger, Braveheart, Casablanca or Last of the Mohicans - those are amazing films that hit hard. Elaine was right all along!
