Good movie likely based loosely based on a true story out of Ft Carson Co. See PBS's The Wounded Platoon for the real thing.

This movie shows you the truth about what American soldiers are put through in the middle east. It's inhumane. Thanks to the actors, directors and producers who put this film together. I hope it will promote awareness so that we can change the direction that the world is moving in.
  • Well acted, well directed, incredibly moving.

Great movie to make you think about the impact the brutality of war has on the hearts and souls of our young men and women placed in these situations. While this might be an extreme example, I know many veterans can identify with the darkness and this possibility this movie portrays and are haunted for life by the things they have seen and done. While the kind of violence portrayed here is extreme, the psychic harm is epidemic and this movie brings forward what no one really wants to hear.
  • THANK YOU ITUNES!!

Excellent narrative, excellent actors; the only reason it didn't do well at the box office was because of the Iraq war politics. When this came out in theatres, I passed it up because I MISTAKENLY thought the content depressing. It's not!! So well done; I can't find the words to describe how great this movie was. JUST RENT IT AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT I MEAN!!

Tommy Lee Jones does it again and proves that if casted correctly, he will kill it every time. Phenominal performance by Jones. I can't stress this enough. This film would get a mediocre rating without him.

John McCain should see this movie, as should every voter in the US, and think long and hard about 100 years of wars.....
  • Tommy Lee please look for better movies.

While a great fan of TLJ, I was appalled by this film. What happened to getting good actors (check), a decent idea (check), and a director who lets those two elements work.(NO) The entire move is a slap in the face with a one-sided political paintbrush. The director has let his personal feelings spill onscreen, a big no-no. The movie might have been good if it was more realistic. Sorry .
