Great Film

I recently rewatched every Wes Anderson film over a recent weekend, while laid up due to illness & this one came out on top. I realize that’s blasphemy. I love all his movies, but for some reason this one stands out. I recommend watching it a few times to pick up on all the subtle nuance throughout the film. However, if you’re highly opinionated, lacking in self awareness, incapable of personal growth, constantly arguing, frequently making enemies, I wouldn’t recommend watching this movie, because you are synonymous with someone who doesn’t have a brain or an original thought.

This movie is a masterpiece, exploring the complications in communication, love, and loss as a sibling unit. If you have siblings, it is a must watch. One of my favorite films of all time, I learn something new every time I watch it.

The mind of Wes Anderson is fascinating. Schwarztman, Wilson and Brody are all wonderful. They play off of each other so well and each of their personalities are so very well established on this mysterious journey for their mothers love and searching for peace themselves while learning to become friends and love each other after being estranged for a year. I loved the way it ended clearly having resolved each sons personal problems while also adding a to be continued vibe. I love Bill Murray cameos. <3 Loved this movie, the writing, the cast, the location Wes Anderson slays another film! :)

Anderson continues to hit the nail on the head with all of his films, especially this one. The movie's quirky aesthetic and great characters (played by a fantastic cast) had me in love with them every second. Well done.

This is in my opinion Wes Anderson's best film. The story of three brothers, finding themselves and finding each other is funny, sad, moving and memorable.

I'll be honest. I wasn't crazy about this film the first time I saw it. However, I own the film and watch every couple of months or so. The underlying meanings and humor are great and can be missed in the first viewing.
Where's Hotel Chevalier?

This version of The Darjeeling Limited does not include the short film, Hotel Chevalier, before the movie. I'm very disappointed. In the movie The Darjeeling Limited, Jason Schwartzman's character even references parts from Hotel Chevalier. Without both parts it's only half the movie!
