Entertaining action (particularly, Chow Yun Fat's trademark style), good plot, and a few great characters and character development. Some of the fights have some cheesy-action-flick elements (such as bad guys dressed up like bad guys and excessively shooting up the place like bad guys, some innocent bystander casualties, etc.), but this is not really a problem when you realize that this is typical of a 90's action movie. The good things already mentioned make the movie stand out in contrast to your typical action flick. I think the Corruptor is perhaps a little better, but Chow Yun Fat is great in both this and that.

This movie the replacement killers is awsome and one of my favorites but i absoulutly love the movie hard boiled by dragon dynasty with chow yun fat and tony leung. please add that movie i want to own that one so bad on my ipod please add that iTunes its a awsome 3 hour shoot em up movie that will leave u wanting more!!!

i so want the car in this movie thast had a broken window and got shot up those was the cool car the had when i was growning up but as far as the movie gose another bang bang shoot eum up movie
