This is one of the best films Jet has ever done. It lacks no action but still has wonderful drama, great cast, wonderful story and amazing music. This is really one of the best movies ever

Proof once again that critics are unnecessary, useless and if it isn't drama, they just do not like it. This movie was amazing. I saw it in the theater 2 times (as a parent, not a teen who has lots of time)! Jet Li's acting was beyond words. He actually studied with autistic kids to get the part down and it was worth it. I almost believed! The action was fabulous, great moves and as always the special move that just makes the movie. Don't miss this one, its the best Jet Li one ever!

If you are craving an action movie, this movie is NOT for you. I would consider it a drama movie. If you are craving drama or just want to have that happy feeling inside, watch this movie. It will make you cry. Best Morgan Freeman movie I have ever seen!

great story, nice fight sequences, good acting... my only gripe is that apparently there is no law enforcement in movie's world scheme of things, complete and utter violence can ensue and nobody seems to care.

This movie will keep you at the edge of your seat making you eager to find out the next event! If you like action, watch it! If you like drama, watch it? It's worth watching!

i really liked this movie. Great action and drama!

I am a martial arts fan and have seen many movies in the martial arts genre. Unfortunately such movies are all action and no story or more importantly, acting. Well this movie has it all. I am a big fan of Jet Li, but I never expected this! This is a master piece if drama, action, cinematography, story and great acting. This is a unique movie mainly because of it visual and contrasting film making. It is shot with a very low color temperature giving the movie a very cold harsh look. The story is about someone who is in a harsh, cruel world. And Jet Li does a surprisingly amazing job portraying that. The action is brutal in intensity and very realistic. And yet the sweet, quite moments are just as innocent as the action is brutal. It makes for a very balanced movie. And of course Morgan Freeman and his step daughter Kerry Condon are perfectly casted to be Jet Li’s character devoted friends. This movie has the ultimate villain played by Bob Hoskins, so beware! This is a definite buy! I can guarantee that you will watch this again and again and yet again!!! Just a warning that although is not a lot of blood, the fighting is very violent and there is quite a bit of cursing. Acting - ***** Drama - ***** Action - *************

For those who love the action AND a good story line--this one should be a must. I also loved the way that the family came out as the winner....not 'family' in the mafia sense, but family in the sense of love and respect for each member, or 'fifty fifty' as was a line from the movie. This is acting at its best. Congrats to the director and thanks to iTunes for making it available.
