Nick Falzone (John Cusack) is the busiest, and the best, air traffic controller on Long Island - until Russell Bell (Billy Bob Thornton) roars into town like a motorcycle-riding cowboy. Fueled by caffeine and machismo, the two men embark upon an uproarious contest of wit and wills that can ultimately only have one winner.

This is a great movie, the only reason someone wouldn't appreciate it is becuase they have no taste. If you want to sit around giving crappy inaccurate reviews for movies, call roger ebert and rate movies with him. That also goes for the others who didn't like this film.
  • Not so great, The Ice Harvest is better

The cast chemistry in this film seemed a bit "off" to me. I saw "The Ice Harvest" with Billy Bob Thorton and John Cusack (directed by Harold Ramis) and that was a far better movie. The cast clicked and so did the story. Check that out instead if they put it on I-Tunes.
  • Good movie

Pushing Tin is a good movie, not a great movie but one that is worth watching. John and Billy Bob do good work together and the movie is rather comical. Watch it and rate it yourself.

  • Who is to blame?

There is no reason to dust off this piece of crap and try selling it on iTunes. They can't really think they'll make any money from this film. It was bad in 99' when it was new. Now it's old and bad. Someone should be fired for that decision.
  • Waste of time

John Cusack is a favorite of mine. But this movie is a complete waste of time. It was boring, poorly written and had no point.
  • Brilliant film

Classic comedy. Ignore the review about air traffic controlling - who the hell wants to see an accurate documentary about air traffic controlling??? It's a film about vicious and comical competition with some great turns by Billy Bob Thornton and John Cusack as air traffic controllers on the edge....Snappy dialogue and great acting.

One of the all time stupid aviation movies of all time. As a former Air Traffic controller I can honestly say that this movie in no way represents the ATC world. Even suspending belief doesn't help this movie. It's genuinely horrible.
