Douglas and Sheen. Those words explain themselves.
  • Greatest business movie

This is the best business movie or movie about finance and Wall Street ever made. Every movie since has just been an imitation, that falls short. This movie is perhaps more relevant today than at its release in 1987. Best movie you could ever watch.

Another liberal movie about how bad Capitalism is, from a a useless director who was probably peeling potatoes for his platoon(Yeah, that movie sucked too.) I guess if Capitalism is so bad; he should give back the money to the poor suckers who paid to see his crap.

Dated, predictable and trite with average acting.

The 80's fashions and interior designs are priceless. Watch this movie for an era correct time capsule.

No doubt, this is an 80's classic. Why is it so good, 1) it is memorable. The name Gordon Gekko is a symbol of wealth, money, power. He taught us that if you want to be rich, you must do it his way. 2) We must remember who played Gordon Gekko, Michael Douglas. He gave the best performance of his life. Out shined Charlie Sheen big time. You still may ask, how good is this movie. Good enough to be remembered through the messages that define it.

I was 18 and having difficulty with deciding a specialization in Business School…this movie took me to Finance/Real Estate very fast. It was a great run until 2007 when the credit market crashed. I used to stop the movie when Bud's dad is in the hospital….I guess I should watched the ending more times. "Bagging the Elephant" and "life comes down to a few moments….this is one of them" I have told myself this so many time before big meetings or interviews. Great movies have been made since Wall Street but this impacted my life...
