Description

Justice is served up family-style as Sylvester Stallone and Estelle Getty star in this mother of all action comedies. When top L.A. detective Joe Bomowski (Stallone) gets a rare visit from his feisty mom, Tutti (Getty), his life is turned upside-down. In no time, she is rearranging Joe's bachelor pad and meddling in his affairs, much to his embarrassment and the delight of his girlfriend, Gwen (JoBeth Williams). To add to Joe's problems, Tutti witnesses a murder and becomes the unlikely partner when she refuses to divulge information unless she's allowed in on the investigation. Just when Joe is ready to kill himself, Tutti helps bring down the bad guys, proving Mother-knows-best in this outrageous action-adventure comedy.

    What could be better than Sylvestor Stallone? Nothing, what could be better than Estelle Getty? Nothing. But this film took the cake, by adding them together. all those who didn't like this film (the dumb critics and some customers) didn't get the humor or over thought the humor. This is a movie of a son's worst nightmare: an over bearing mom who carries with her ALL the emberrassing pictures and tells ALL the emberrassing stories from your childhood. Then just when you think he's suffered enough she intervenes in his whole life. Buy this, watch it; DO NOT over think the jokes then look your mom square in the eye and say "don't be like Estelle" LOL

    Yes, this movie is lame and pointless, but I still enjoyed it (only because of Estelle Getty). If she wasn't in it, I would call it the one od the worst movies ever. I won't say anything bad about any of the Golden Girls as long as I live. This is a dumb movie, and if you're looking for an entertaining movie, buy something else. If you an Estelle Getty fan, you'll love it :) Story: 0 stars Estelle Getty: 5 stars isn't enough

    my mother made me and my brothers watch this movie and we were laughing all the way through! i have no idea why people think this is a bad movie, its a great movie to show with the family. the only thing i dont like about it was the language but that was slight so thats all good. LOL. i hope u at least rent this movie to find that its a great movie, later!

    i remember watching this movie when i was like 4 years old! i love estelle getty! this movie made me laugh so hard, good memories! this is a must see good ol' comedy!
