After Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams), an unemployed actor, loses custody of his three children to his ex-wife (Sally Field), he realizes that seeing his kids once a week just isn’t enough. So the crafty thespian dresses as “Mrs. Doubtfire,” an elderly British nanny with a sharp tongue and an endearing way with children, in order to be close to his kids in this bright, heartwarming comedy.

  • Don't toss your blu-ray just yet...

Great movie and the new 4K transfer is really good. Extras are lacking though and the deleted scenes (hilarious sub-plot involving the neighbor) and director commentary are missing from this release. Seeing as it was $4.99 it was worth it but I am holding on to the old blu-ray also for these reasons.

  • A true classic

Robin at his finest. A once in a lifetime talent, he should always be counted as one of the greatest actors of our age. He is truly missed.

  • One of the BEST!

Mrs. Doubtfire is simply Robin Williams at his best! After all these years since it’s original release, it’s still pure magic, pulling at the heartstrings, and delivering nonstop laughs! Classic!

My sister and me love this one
  • Offensive to Trans Community

    By BroMuscle
This movie is outdated and offensive to members of the trans community just like Ace Ventura Pet Detective is. Should be pulled from distribution. Robin Williams was also disrespectful to many POC with his “comedy”

I love this movies story and how a father has an amazing talent of doing different voices and how desperate he is to be with his children! Also, it is helarious! In my opinion, it is a family movie but some adult theme because of bad language!

Such a good movie I was only 1 when I saw the movie. I love it. No body else can beat Robin Williams with a great voice.
