This movie is awful, what a joke. Kevin Smith has lost it, he had something with his style of comedy films he used to make, but he obviously can't do anything else. This movie is all over the page, not sure what it is supposed to be. A horror movie? A suspense movie? A political commentary? It doesn't accomplish anything, it's a meandering mess, and it's a ridiculous stereotyping of certain kinds of people that is about as far from the truth as fairly tales. Not sure what all of the positive reviews are for, I guess they are personal friends of Kevin Smith, but do yourself a favor and don't waste your time nor money on this confusing overdone mishmash of garbage.

It's very clear from reading the poor reviews of this film that a lot of people are outraged by what they think is a good vs evil film, when in actuality this is a horror film. A film where the worst of the worst happens at every turn, and lives in nearly every character. Even those we want to cheer for and relate to make the worst choices when they get the opportunity to save the day. From hideous incompetence to violent zealots, to moronic teens, to arrogance in power - this film shows what happens when the worst imaginable factors on both sides of a situation collide. It's a smart and unique film, and just because you don't get it, does not by any stretch mean it is unworthy of praise from those who do. Truest great art makes you feel something. This film pulls from its viewer - anger, intense frustration, sadness, greif, and even humor. Yes, there are beautifully crafted performances. Yes, there is a horrifyingly genuine creepy atmosphere. No, it's not a big budget picture BUT you'll never notice that if you let this story teller display his art for you. Excellent piece of cinema, Mister Smith. Thank you.

This was awful. Very poorly filmed waist of time.

I hope all of these good reviews are a joke, because that was one of the worst movies I have seen in a while. Just terrible.

I liked it, cause I never knew what was going to happen next. He crosses a lot of genres in this film. The acting is really amazing as well. This is just good story telling.

Very unique, very raw. This movie is the horror that could be very believeable.

I heard nothing but bad reviews on this movie. I gave it a shot because I like Kevin Smiths work. I ended up loving this movie. This is not a Clerks, or Mall Rats type flick, this is more like Pulp Fiction. This is not a light movie, but it is entertaining, and it makes you think. It makes you thing about crazies in religion and our government. I will definitely watch this movie again.

I am angry at myself for spending less than $5 and wasting 90 minutes of my life. There is nothing redeeming about this movie. Terrible dialogue, no fresh take on anything and poor character development. No wonder it only made $1mm at the box office and no one wanted to market this pos. Don't know what happened, but Kevin Smith has lost it and M. Night Shamalayan now laughs at him.

Don't waste your time on this movie. Instead of having a good plot they try to extract emotion through shock. This flick amounts to bad acting, no story line, stupid stupid and more stupid. What a joke. Don't waste your time or money.
