Great space movie all in all but I will concede that it could have been titled “Daddy Issues In Space”... lol

I don’t know how anyone who isn’t in to space or sci-fi films not think this movie is incredible. The shots, the color, the story, the pacing, and the ideas. All of it is phenomenal. Aliens this is not.

As everyone else has stated.. this is horrible beyond measure. Not even sure there was a plot line here.

The film is slow, but definitely not boring. It’s artistic and moving. There’s so much to think about. It’s super fascinating it keeps you interested through out. Highly recommend.

  • Rut-Row ...

One can tell, by the title of it, that this simple minded movie was influenced by the old cartoon show, “The Jetsons.” And it’s just about as witty. Why do we have to depend upon European filmmakers to produce a movie with even the most modest amount of intellectual thought behind it? Pictures like these have taken the cinema from an art form to an assembly line production of worthless trinkets.
  • Yeah, you bet it's slow

I suspended my belief and instead put my faith in an all-star cast. The acting was impeccable. The plot- hmmm. It fell just short, all over the place. I should have listened to the reviews, something I'm only mildly prone to do. I loved the photography too. But to bottomline it– save your money!

Has pacing that reminds me of apocalypse now. This is a wonderful film. If you are a serious science fiction fan this is excellent and shouldn’t be missed. I am not sure what people are looking for in films today if this isn’t considered top rate.
  • Depressing.

Sure, the movie has a lot of cool science fiction, but the story was a big flop. The protagonist was just depressed the whole movie, but while he was depressed he was flying awesome rockets to the moon and to Mars. So, in short it was a really cool universe ruined by a disappointing story. Really I want to give 2.5 stars just for the semi-realistic space travel that looked cool.
