Description

K2, a 28,250-foot mountain in Pakistan's Karakoram Range, is the setting for this adrenaline-pumping action-adventure. It's a race against time when a retired mountain climber (Chris O'Donnell) leads a rescue mission to save his estranged sister (Robin Tunney) and other members of her team who have become trapped on K2 after a deadly avalanche. Martin Campbell, the celebrated director of The Mask of Zorro and GoldenEye, delivers high-voltage action and exhilarating suspense in a film that pits man against his own limitations and the awesome power of nature's uncontrollable elements.

A totally improbable, ridiculous storyline but still thrilling to watch. So-so acting, if better, might have earned this film another star. Definitely know that mountain climbing will never make my bucket list.
  • Great movie!

The acting was not the best and they made K2 look easy to climb. It was not very realistic due to the lack of acclimatization and the climbing abilities of the characters. I still recommend this movie because it is very intense and has a great story line.

Well..i DO love both Robin Tunney(The Mentalist) and Chris O' Donnell(NCIS: Los Angeles) because they're from two of my favorite shows EVER! but i didnt like the whole setting at the beginning. yeah...NOT the BEST movie, but like i said: could've been better.

Without doubt this is one of the worst films I have ever seen. The acting is outrageous, unrealistic, and just awful. The directing is even worse. Don't waste your time, energy, or money on this one... truly one expensive piece of crap! I'd give it zero stars if I could.

Do you have a wall? Have you ever seen a wall? If you answered "Yes" to either of those questions, this movie is for you. Try watching this movie on the next wall you see, or one you even own. Try it. It completes the experience. You know what? I dare you to watch it on 2 walls at once! How stunning would that be? As stunning as the Wall makes it. Thank you very much.
