I liked this movie until I saw the poor dog! OMG! It was SO sad at that point. I have never watched this film again. Because of that. I love animals. To see that was horrible!

The Fly was a brilliant remake done right with the intention of being disturbing, well-written, good characters, brilliant storyline and the film overall is gross science fiction flaw but the cast members including Jeff Goldblum who gives a top-grade performence as Seth Grundle who he slowy transformes into the fly and his transformatio builds tenison and suspense to the film and it's smart.
  • Do not plan on eating while watching!

The Fly, an all time Oscar Contender 😂 okay NOT REALLY but it was a definite insane 80’s Horror experience! Nightmare cinema proof of how Flies gets into everything Including your personal nervous system! Jeff Goldblum was horrifyingly convincing of mutating into a psychopath fly in what can be described as graphically engrossing! Just know if you’re not careful, watching the Fly may end up making you skip lunch 🤢🤮!

The Fly is simply one of the greatest horror movies ever. It has deep emotional resonance, romance, grandeur and unforgettable sadness and horror. Nothing today compares to the brilliance and no director comes close to Cronenberg. This movie is his masterpiece.

This is better than the original and you simply cannot go wrong with Goldblum; he brings so much charisma to each role. I go back and watch this movie a couple times a year at least. It’s just fun to watch for its 80s vibes, Goldblum’s charisma, and excellent script writing/ story telling. This one may be in the top 10-20 horror movies of all time, objectively speaking. It’s a must buy if you’re a horror junkie no matter your sub genre preference. I would give this movie an A.
  • Great movie, but......

I saw this movie when it came out in the movie theater. When he throws up on donuts, I think... my gag reflex kicked in. I thought I might be sick. Now that’s my kind of movie. Every since I saw this movie, if a fly lands on my food I won’t eat it. I’ve seen the original 1958 version with Vincent Price as a kid. He was a favorite of mine along with other actors during that time who made ‘scary movies.’
  • GREAT MOVIE !
