The Polar Express

This was a great movie first time I saw it the details were great Tom hanks was wonderful couldn’t ask for a better movie I would’ve got the train to meet Santa Claus 🎅 ho ho ho

The facial expressions on every character in this are horrifying, right in the uncanny valley, and the train is still taking every kid to the North Pole, turning them into elves and putting them in hard labor in Santa’s factory.

For those that have already purchased this and go through the normal movie store interface for selecting movies, you usually see that you already purchased a movie and can select it from there. For this movie there is no indication that a different version of the movie has already been purchased. As others have pointed out, you can go to your library if already purchased movies and that works just fine, but it is definitely confusing and disorganized. Apple should take a page out of the Amazon book and show users on the purchase page a nice header that says “you already have purchased a different version of this movie” and allow us to watch it directly from that page. Very easy to add something like this in software. That would be much nicer.

Despite it's age, the visuals still hold up well on an 84" TV with 5.2.4 Dolby setup. I love to turn it up super loud when the train comes down the street early in the movie.

“The Polar Express” never fails at being a classic Christmas masterpiece, especially considering it’s an animated book adaptation based on the book of the same name. Despite its mixed-to-mostly-positive reviews, there’s no doubt that “The Polar Express” will keep longtime fans entertained, even future fans for years to come. I love it, & so does every fan before & after me that loves it. In short, I love “The Polar Express”.
