I remember counting down the days for this show to start and how it was a really big deal for the female hipsters of my generation to finally have someone that looks like them on tv. As a hipster myself I had seen that meme of Zooey Deschanel that clearly proves half her head is bangs and that’s what made me obsessed with her, not to mention I was already a huge fan of her husband-at-the-time’s band. She is also in movies and at least one miniseries so check those out too. :E

Loved this show from start to finish, great comedy, slows down a bit in the later seasons but it’s still great nonetheless.

The first season started of great, the show was really fun to watch, but then after the early seasons, the mid to late seasons just got worse until I stopped watching...I couldn't get through season 7 and I barely remember season 6. One of my main issues was the on/off relationship with the Zoey and that no-so-funny-guy. My second issue was that, the not-so-funny guy started off as sort of not-so-smart air headed character (which was a sort-of-funny), but then near the end he all of the sudden became some sort of smart famous book author. The on/off relationship and dumb/smart character change totally ruined the show for me and then I just couldn't watch the show anymore.

All in all I give it 3 stars for being fun but not remarkable
