I love this movie for its educational value, the people in the film and for their passion. If you didn’t care about wine before, you will after this movie. If you liked wine, you will love wine after this movie.

I was hooked after watching this first film about sommeliers, and when I heard they were doing a sequel I was beyond stoked. And now a third?! So excited!

So insightful. So eye opening. Not only eye opening in to the lives of these talented men and woman, but also to the history and culture that surrounds the study of this beverage. I can watch this movie on repeat every single day.

A window into a very interesting world.

Anytime we host friends we show this (one of the few movies I've out-right purchased) and EVERYONE loves it. Not too many movies I can watch over and over. This is on that short list. Just outstanding.

A friend recommended this documentary and I'm so glad they did. I really loved this movie and the storyline. If you enjoy wine, you will love this movie. I'm now going to buy the second installment of this documentary. Highly recommend!

This was very well done and drew me into the lives of the guys taking the exam. The subject, study habits, interactions and finally the test were all so gripping that I couldn't break away from the screen until it was over.

Probably the most apt way to describe the movie is "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" for wine. The story focuses on the trials & tribulations of Master Sommelier candidates as they prepare for the rigorous Master Sommelier exam. The story blends the personal stories with the facts & history of wine and makes the movie enjoyable. The study and prep are intense and you see how much the candidates dedicate their lives to the theory, practice, service, & tasting of wine. It's the dedication & sacrifice that echoes "Jiro". So if you liked "Jiro" you will probably enjoy "Somm".

What a truly inspiring and informational film. I have gained a tremendous respect for the Sommelier - BRAVO !!!
