An amazing story of an amazing lady like no other. I had no idea at all that Rose Marie had done in her life or the heartbreak of losing her husband. Jason Wise is an amazing story teller and I can’t wait to see to see his other movies- SOMM and SOMM into the Bottle.

She's from a time where you had to have talent and believe me she did. She was beautiful, she could sing, dance, act, tell jokes, she could do anything. Iwould have done anthing to meet her. She was an inspiration. A beautiful person and a beautiful soul.
  • Amazing life!

This was the best documentary because Rose Marie was the story teller. How cool is that? To be able to tell your story yourself and have it documented. Great job. Great stories. Great life.

Rose Marie was a tue star. This is a wonderful documentary, so many great actors and actresses, original hollywood footage, with such a sweet story. Rose Marie did it all, and this really pays tribute to a legendary showbiz career.

I always loved Rose Marie on the DVD show. This documentary- which didn’t feel like a documentary - is fantastic. A child STAR - phenomenally talented. ‘Adopted’ by Al Capone and later Bugsy Siegel and helped to create Vegas? She was an amazing woman, and this movie is wonderful!

I knew little of Rosemarie other than her name preceding this movie. Not only does she embrace the modernization of American talent through the decades, but she led the forces as a strong woman during times that wasn’t necessarily societal norms. Plus, we laughed, and we didn’t wait for our laugh! They just kept coming.

I didn't know about Rose Marie's fame as a child star until I read her book, "Hold The Roses". I was fascinated by her story, and followed her on Facebook. She would share photos and stories about how she worked with many beloved stars. When I heard they were making a movie about her life, I helped with the Kickstarter, knowing this was a story worth telling. This movie is not just her story, but it's the history of entertainment. She was part of vaudeville, radio, Broadway, night clubs and TV for almost 90 years. I was so sorry to hear of her passing in December, but her story will live on in this fun, funny, and yet moving documentary. I love that she told her own story, giving her another chance to shine in the spotlight, and backed it up with her home movies and scrapbooks. A huge thank you is due to Jason and Christina for bringing her story to the screen in such a unique and engaging way. Because of them, Rose Marie will be remembered as the pioneering legend she really was.

This film is like skipping back in time with a good friend. You want to reach into the picture and give this great lady a big hug. The film not only covers an amazing life and talent, but documents the history of entertainment spanning over 90 years. Wise covers the life of a great entertainer in a compelling and thoughful way. Great work.

I was familiar with Rose Marie’s work...or at least I thought I was. Recently binge watching her on the VanDyke show I realized her talent extended beyond tv acting simply by the way she moved and performed during singing and dance numbers. This movie not only explains her talent, but shows that she was so much more. This movie makes me wish I had the opportunity to sit with and talk with her before her passing. What a national treasure!
