Description

Set in old Detroit, a crime-ridden ghetto of the not too distant future, a cop killed in the line of duty is robotized then dispatched to fight crime. But Robocop is haunted by memories and dreams of who and what he used to be. As he rediscovers his past, he uncovers a murder conspiracy at the highest level of police management.

    Just for those purists out there who want to know before renting/buying: this version, as of April 2021, is the director’s cut that contains the extra footage during the scenes when Kinney gets killed by ED-209, when Murphy gets shot, and when Clarence gets killed, among others.

    This movie is so good you wonder why there aren’t many other action movies that meet it’s High mark. I’ll put it another way, let’s compare it with the original Predator movie; ROBCOP A+ PREDATOR C- If you like this genre and haven’t seen it you are in for a blast from the past!

    Great action, acting, also surprisingly political and the concept of resurrection bundles into an artistic violent masterpiece. This iconic film will live in the mind forever. This needs an HDR remastered version.
