The “remake” shouldn’t even have the same title. This is classic Arnold Schwarzenegger when movies were aloud to be fun.

Total recall is probably Arnold Schwarzenegger’s best performance and probably his best film it’s between this and terminator 2 judgment day total recall is a sci fi classic even though it’s a little weird it’s still a really good movie my mom isn’t a big Arnold Schwarzenegger fan but she liked total recall this movie is a top ten for me I definitely recommend this movie for you if you like sci fi movies with lots of 80s blood

Only complain I got is the remaster quality... seems to have washed out colors or it’s too bright compared to the previous transfer which has better balance on picture quality!

This is still a great movie even 27 years after it was made.
  • Starts great - ends in a freak show

This was like two movies smashed together. The first half is straight good science fiction. But once they land on Mars it goes off the rails into wierdsville sicko twisted land. Totally bizarre and destroys the story.

Picture quality is kind of grainy. Just like top gun and other movies I reviewed. I have a 18.4 " laptop so my screen size can really see the difference. I'm sure those of you that watch this on a big screen will see it even more. But it is grainy not like the other older movies that have true hd quality picture. Such as patton, when harry met sally and lawrence of arabia. those pictures are really clear hd.please forward any reviews that you experience so we don't buy this non hd crap. apple does not stand behind their product. they have a disclaimer that they are not responsible for quality content.

Disappointed to learn I have to download 1080 P into my laptop before I can download into my iPad mini or iPhone 5s. Why does iTunes default only download 720 P? In all movies purchased in HD? Pick up the pace Apple. I updated all my files to 1080 P HD and my devices with a sync. Disappointing....

When Total Recall was released back in 1990, it was a mega hit and mostly due to its amazing visual effects & incredible story. Paul Verhoeven already known at the time for his superb work on Robocop brought all the magic into this and released a sci-fi classic. Arnie is in fine form and the moment his character 'Doug Quaid' visits Rekall, all hell breaks loose and you are hooked to the Unforgettable end. Jerry Goldsmiths incredible score is one of the many highlights and don't be forgetting the 'customs' scene. Classic!
