Description

In the middle of the night, 11-year old Jimmy Gardner awakens to find a space craft landing in the hills beyond his home. No one believes his story, but during the following day, Jimmy notices the strange behavior of his parents and other members of the community.     What is up with the distribution? This is one of those funky cases where a Standard and HD version are available but for some reason the HD version is rental only. Also for being Standard the price of $14.99 is too high, I would expect that price for a HD version but not Standard.

    Loved this movie growing up! While the performance of Hunter Carson is not Oscar worthy, the film is not either! It’s just a fun Sci-Fi flick from the mid-eighties! I love the atmosphere, and paranoid state this film evokes! The special effects were and are still awesome!! I loved as a kid, and still do love to this day, the underlying message of the film. Question authority…Including your parents!! Thumbs up from this guy!

    The author of the synopsis needs to watch this film. The protagonist's name is "David," not "Jimmy." This is a classic favorite from my childhood I watched so many times that—even fifteen years later—I remember the boy's name.
