Description

A typical family in a quiet suburb of a normal California faces a frightening ordeal when its home is invaded by a Poltergeist. Late one night, 10-year-old Carol Anne Freeling (Heather O'Rourke) hears a voice coming from inside the television set ... At first, the spirits that invade the Freelings' home seem like playful children. But then they turn angry. And when Carol Anne is pulled from this world into another, Steve and Diane Freeling (Craig T. Nelson and JoBeth Williams--In the Land of Women) turn to an exorcist (Zelda Rubinstein) in this horror classic from director Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre films) and producer and screenwriter Steven Spielberg.

I didn’t want to rent this movie, I was wanting to buy the movie! But it’s flagged as a rental! Guess I will go on Amazon & buy the Blu-ray disk! Saw the movie originally in the theater

It’s seems that there should be something wrong with this tactic of removing a film and re-listing it. Since we already own the movie and spent money on the movie, how can they remove it and have us pay again? Once you purchase you should always have it, like a DVD copy. If you remove the movie at that point we get a refund, correct? You doing that to people is almost like breaking into someone’s house and stealing the dvd copy, you’re stealing a copy that we buy bought. You should be ashamed of yourself for doing this to people. No wonder Hollywood and all these production companies are going down the toilet.
  • Listed again? Wow….is this intentional Apple?

THERE IS ONLY ONE NAME FOR THIS ACTIVITY AND IT IS CALLED THEFT. THEFTAND GRAND THGEFT. IF I GO INTO ANYWHERE WHERE SOME PERSON HAS BOUGHT AN ITEM AND I DECIDE TO TAKE THAT ITEM THE TERM IS STEALING ROBBING THEFT AND YOU DO NOT BYPASS ANY LAW BECAUSE YOU ARE A CORPORATION. EMBEZZLING OR WHAT HAVE YOU.THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND THERFORE WHY IS IT OK FOR APPLE.? IF I BUY OR PURCHASE MOVIES AND SELL THEM FOR A PRICE THAT IS ILLEGAL.. WHY IS IT FAIR FOR APPLE TO TAKE WHAT IS PURCHASED AWAY? A CRIME??

Great movie. Greedy studios and Apple trying to force us to repurchase something we already own viewing rights to. This is getting ridiculous.

This is Apple and Warner Brothers getting together to try to trick people into buying the movie again delete the movie and then relist it so it doesn’t show up that you purchased it.
  • Why Is It Rated G?

Is this some kind of edited kiddie version of the movie? I don’t remember it ever being rated G.

Please fix the rating information! Little kids shouldn’t watch this movie!
  • Apple should stop allowing Warner Bros to do this re-listing game

Apple should stop allowing Warner Bros to do this re-listing game. The title is the same. WB stop hating movie collectors, or at least have a window where you can still get the 4K. Ridiculous to buy a movie then weeks later the 4K *is a new whole title...* just to get around the auto 4K upgrade.
  • Another instance of the studio scamming it’s customers

The studio is robbing us of our free 4K upgrade. This is all intentional and a cash grab.
