So far from what the account is in the Bible. They took way too much liberty with this.

Wonderful movie, great acting by Watson,Connely and Crowe. The story told here uses elements from the non cannonical text the book of Enoch when it presents the fallen angel giants idea. I was shockingly surprised and disturbed by this conceptualization and didn't know how to receive it in my head as a reader of the King James Bible. When I gave it a chance and recognized how this film is about inner moral conflicts of the heart and the redeption of the soul I started to like it very much. I fervently recommed you watch it.
  • The Gladiator and the Transformers with a touch of Thor

Noah, who as a green peace pacifist, possesses amazing fighting skills defeats a huge army of men along with the help of giant transformers made of rock even though the men had shoulder-mounted anti-tank weapons. Remember, this is prehistoric times. Noah’s grandfather has magical healing powers and in his younger days he had a flaming sword that acted as Thor’s hammer when he strikes the ground with it to send out a 360 degree force field against another army of men. Noah’s original ancestors (Adam and Eve) were glowing naked bald-headed space aliens. I should have realized that this was going to be silly, when in the beginning, Noah’s father cares for some strange alien creature that looks like a dog that had skin made of armored-plated scales. When the time for the flood comes, Noah decides that his mission from “the Creator” is just to save the Earth and the animals from the destruction of men including his own family. Therefore, after all is done, he and his are supposed to just all die without producing any more offspring. So he purposefully leaves one of his son’s (Ham) potential wives who injured her leg in a metal bear trap(?) to get trampled by the rushing army of men. I turned this movie off after Ham helps the king of the army get into the Ark as revenge against Noah.

Noah is a washed up history movie with loads of flaws and turns but the performences by Russell Crowe is wonderful. I don't know why people hate this movie maybe you guys didn't pay attention or was it too smart. Either way Noah blends itsef into making a smart movie while making great visuals and interesting characters in a fast pace.
  • Notice how all the liberals love this

You can read from the bible word for word and this is a travesty. Its just full of lies. Noah was told how to start again. The liberals turned it into what they would like. NO HUMANS. As long as I have been alive they blame humans for everything. Its a lie. It could have been a beautiful movie. at the very end Noah tells his daughter be fruitful and multiply. But in the bible he as many more children. This ends with Noah alone. a lie. We will all know the truth in that day.

This Film was created by the devil to distort the truth. Hollywood at its best.
  • Biblical exploitation is more than cringeworthy

In my humble opinion, this movie has absolutely nothing to do with the biblical story, other than exploiting it for attention. Without the biblical tie, I expect it would be ignored, as it should be. I regret giving these people money to watch it, but I plan to avoid the director and arrogant or indifferent cast members in any future movies. Don’t take my word for it, I recommend reading a few interviews of the director and cast online and then make up your own mind, but do it before you give them a penny, please.
  • Not in anyway the real story

I watched this because I like Russel Crowe. But nothing about this story is the real story except some of their names. The watchers are fallen angels who took human women as mates. Their offspring were the giants. All cursed by God. That was the evil God was wiping off the earth with the flood. So that there would still be a pure, uninfected by the fallen angels, human blood line for Yeshua Jesus, the Son of God, to be born from. Noah knew they were to continue on after the flood. He never struggled with believing mankind was to die off. His sons wives were all on the ark. Tubal-Cain was evil but he never made it onto the ark. And I still like Russel Crowe.
